Evening journaling for self love
Having a journaling practice can be a deeply healing and therapeutic tool for self care. It doesn’t have to be a big daunting thing to add to your to do list. Simply spending a few minutes each evening before bed, going through your day, what happened and how you felt can help you identify patterns and learn more about yourself.
Try these simple prompts to help you create a positive practice for self love:
When were you the most happy today? Write down one situation or moment where you felt happy and at peace in your day.
What did you do well today? Write down at least 2 tings that you did well today (some days just getting through the day can be an achievement).
What are you grateful for today? List at least 3 things or people.
Choose a positive affirmation that feels true and write it down, ie. “I did my best today” or “I am learning to take better care of myself”.
